Amiens have this evening announced the double signing of midfielder Rafał Kurzawa and right-back Emil Krafth from Polish side Górnik Zabrze and Bologna respectively.

The 25-year-old Kurzawa, who played in Poland’s only victory at this summer’s World Cup – a 1-0 Group Stage win over Japan – has joined the Stade de la Licorne on a free transfer; whilst the Stockholm-born Krafth has joined on a loan deal with an initial option to buy from Bologna.

Kurzawa enjoyed a prominent campaign with Górnik Zabrze in the Polish Ekstraklasa last season, contributing 22 assists and 4 goals in his 41 appearances in 2017/18.

Meanwhile, Krafth – who now has 14 senior international caps to his name – was initially called up to represent his country at U-21 level at the tender age of just 17-years-old, and has played for Swedish sides Östers IF and Helsingborgs IF prior to his move to Italy in 2015.

The double transfer takes Amiens’s number of summer recruits to four, following the signings of goalkeeper Matthieu Dreyer and forward Juan Ferney Otero.
