Paris Saint-Germain have tonight announced the arrival of 19-year-old full-back Nuno Mendes from Sporting on a loan deal with a permanent option.
Fabrizio Romano reports that the initial loan fee for the Portuguese international will be €7m, while the option to buy has been set at €40m.
The young defender leaves Portugal after an impressive break-out season last year, in which he made 29 appearances and earned first full international caps while winning the domestic double with Sporting.
