Some distressing news concerning the “Nature Boy” has come out. It was reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet that two-time WWE Hall of Fame inductee Ric Flair was hospitalized yesterday in the morning. The report claimed that it was due to heart-related issues, but a representative of Flair’s now claims that he is undergoing “routine monitoring.” Flair was allegedly taken to an ICU by his family that day, however, the representative is adamant that Flair is doing well even though he is checked into a hospital at the moment. The rep has added that there is “no reason to panic,” and that “Ric would want you to go out and have a great weekend … Nature Boy style!”
Only just a matter of days after Brandi Rhodes announced her choice to depart Global Force Wrestling, another female performer has given the company their notice. Angelina Love announced on Twitter that she asked and was granted her release from the company. Love has been working for the company periodically since the TNA days of 2007. She won the TNA Knockout’s Championship a record of six times. Brandi Rhodes recently left the company over a contract issue, it is possible that Angelina could have departed for the same reason. However, it is probably more likely that she decided to leave after her husband Davey Richards decided to retire from wrestling to become a doctor.
I asked for my release from @IMPACTWRESTLING and it was granted today. Thank you for the years of fun and much love to all my fans!!!

As we all know by now, John Cena returned to WWE a few months back as a “free agent.” The 16-time world champion has been rumored to appear on the Raw brand for a few weeks now, but no timetable for when he was showing up was given. He has been advertised to appear at the Raw-exclusive No Mercy pay-per-view that will be following SummerSlam, but it looks like he’ll be coming back to Raw much sooner than that. It was announced by the official Twitter account of the Barclays Center that John Cena will be returning to Raw on the show after SummerSlam on August 21st. Despite being a “free agent,” Cena is expected to remain solely on Raw for a while.
