As noted, UFC announced during their UFC 237 pay-per-view on ESPN+ from Brazil on Saturday night that this coming week will see the release of a brand new in-depth sit-down interview with UFC Hall Of Famer turned WWE Superstar “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey.

Rousey spoke with UFC broadcast team member and television host / backstage interviewer Megan Olivi for a new full-length interview special that UFC will be releasing on multiple platforms this coming week.

In the several-minute preview clip that Olivi released and promoted during Saturday night’s UFC on ESPN+ broadcast, Rousey was featured talking about how working for WWE is more stressful than working for the UFC. She also discussed how her Octagon debut again Liz Carmouche in the first-ever women’s bout in UFC history “felt bigger” than being the first-ever women’s main event at WrestleMania in the 35-show history of WWE’s biggest annual show.

Featured below are some of the highlights from Megan Olivi’s extensive sit-down interview with Ronda Rousey.

On working for WWE being more stressful than working for UFC: “Its physical in a different way. The stress is much more. I can get in a random fight and I will beat them up but the training, the press, thinking about is the real wear and tear. I can give myself a month after a fight to recover and with WWE its a non stop grind. Everyone else does it all year round and their minds get no rest. The only thing that compares to the mental strain of UFC is the Olympics.”

On being in the first women’s WrestleMania main event feeling big, but her Octagon debut against Liz Carmouche in UFC’s first-ever women’s fight feeling bigger: “When I first came I was planning on doing it a couple months but my one request when we first started is that I wanted to finish my storyline with Stephanie. I love Stephanie and all of the girls so much but I had to keep it a secret that I hated them. Triple H showed me how to lace up my boots. It was so fun for me. It felt big to headline WrestleMania. Me and Liz Carmouche felt bigger though. Everything felt like it had to happen that way or women’s MMA would have ended before it started.”

On the nerves and pressure that come with being a WWE Superstar: “I enjoy wrestling so much more, being maxed out on so much pressure. At WrestleMania it was the highest moment for Becky and Charlotte and I was just like, I love WrestleMania. I was excited to see Joan Jett performing as I am walking down that ramp. She was nodding at me, starring at me, playing Bad Reputation.”

Interviewing @RondaRousey over the years has always been a fun experience, but when we sat down recently in California my chat with Ronda quickly became one of my favorite interviews. She was open, funny and so entertaining to catch up with. I’m beyond grateful she was willing to have this conversation and I think you’ll really enjoy hearing what she has to say. Here’s a sneak peak of our interview which comes out Sunday at noon EST on UFC.com …
