Rusev has been used only sparingly on WWE television this year. In fact, it was even rumored that he and his wife Lana had asked to be released from the company not too long ago. However, both remain employed by WWE at the moment. On the most recent Smackdown show, Rusev promised that he would make a name for himself by taking out a “legend.” The Wrestling Observer Newsletter now reports that the plan is for Rusev to have another match against Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell. Randy Orton defeated Rusev at SummerSlam in just ten seconds, but Orton once used the “Legend Killer” moniker before arguably becoming a WWE legend himself.
Hurricane Irma caused a ton of devastation for the citizens of Florida. The hurricane even managed to cause some inconveniences for WWE since the NXT tapings held yesterday were originally scheduled to take place last Wednesday. The storm also caused a few NXT live events to be cancelled, and numerous talents who live in Orlando were affected. NXT and Mae Young Classic competitor Lacey Evans recently announced that her home and belongings were all greatly affected by the hurricane. She even revealed that she lost some irreplaceable photos of her late father. She later thanked fans for sending their support and motivated everyone to always look on the bright side of unfortunate situations.

I can replace appliances….clothes…hell, my entire home. But this will never be replaced. Never. I could give two shits about what I’ve lost. But damn this is the worse part. All I have left of my father are these?? saving what i can. #HurricaneIrma can kiss my ass.

Batista is one of the most legendary performers to ever set foot in a WWE ring. He has has not competed in a WWE ring since 2014, but his name has been rumored to headline the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame class. Despite leaving abruptly in 2014, PWInsider has reported that his contract has likely expired by now, unless the company decided to freeze his contract after he left. Batista has said that he would like to end his WWE career by feuding with Triple H. He was open to returning after the premiere of the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, but Triple H and Stephanie McMahon turned him down because they were unsure of how the movie would perform.
