Shawn Michaels Hits Sweet Chin Music at Tonight’s NXT Event
As noted, WWE NXT held a live event in San Antonio tonight, and the main event featured Drew McIntyre defending his NXT Title against Adam Cole. Additionally, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels was the special guest referee for the bout.
The finish of the match saw McIntyre retain the NXT Title after Michaels hit Sweet Chin Music On Undisputed Era member Kyle O’Reilly, who attempted to interfere.
Drew McIntyre will go on to defend the NXT Title at Takeover WarGames tomorrow night against Andrade “Cien” Almas, and you can check out footage of tonight’s main event finish in the video below:
