R-Truth Wants to Fight Carmella
R-Truth cut another wonderfully bizarre promo on this week’s episode of Smackdown Live, eventually leading to a singles match with WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. Truth stated that he wanted a shot at the title, and when questioned on how he would go about earning one, the veteran hilariously stated that he would get his shot the same way everybody else has – “by pinning Carmella”. Smackdown Live Dark Matches
In a dark match prior to tonight’s Smackdown Live television tapings, Asuka teamed with Naomi to score a tag team victory over Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. Three hours later, after the show had gone off the air, and cameras stopped rolling on this week’s episode of 205 Live, WWE Champion AJ Styles and the “Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy formed a dream team to take on Samoa Joe and Randy Orton.
