On Monday night, the RAW brand made their final impression before Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view. Tonight, it is SmackDown Live’s turn, as the final stop on the road to this year’s SummerSlam event takes place this evening with the “go-home” edition of SmackDown Live.
Tonight’s SmackDown Live show emanates from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas with the final angles and storylines wrapping up on the blue brand as we head into the biggest WWE event of the summer.
Officially announced for tonight’s show thus far is a singles match that features John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio, as well as a special Miz TV segment, as The Miz will be joined by WWE Champion Dean Ambrose and his opponent at Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view, Dolph Ziggler.
