Speaking to reporters in the mixed zone last night following PSG’s 4-4 draw with Amiens in Ligue 1, captain Thiago Silva looked ahead to Tuesday’s clash with Dortmund, speaking notably about Erling Braut Haaland.
“He scores a lot of goals. 9 goals in 6 matches, that’s incredible, that’s enormous! I hope that we will be attentive and that he will not score against us, and instead continue to do so in his league. But for us, it is magnificent to play against a player like him, especially one who has just started his career. He will be very motivated, but PSG will be as well. We are not scared, but we have a lot of respect. I saw their game yesterday (Friday), they have a lot of quality going forward, they scored 4 goals, with incredible technique, difficult movements to fight against. But if we are together, we can have a good match over there. With a lot of respect for their players, who are phenomenons.”
