Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite took shape at Revolution with a TNT title match being formalized, a singles match between tag team specialists, and another meeting between the Inner Circle being made.

Fresh off a brutal tag team street fight at Revolution, TNT Champion Darby Allin will defend against Scorpio Sky who earned the shot by winning Sunday’s Face of the Revolution ladder match. Allin will be looking for the third defense of the title he won in November at Full Gear while this will be Sky’s second shot at the title after he was unsuccessful against then-champion Cody Rhodes last August.

Also announced was a “war council” meeting for the Inner Circle after Chris Jericho and MJF failed in their bid to unseat the Young Bucks as tag team champions at Revolution. Later in the show, Jericho, MJF, Santana and Ortiz were interviewed backstage where Jericho said changes had to be made in the group with MJF saying he agreed.

A singles match between Matt Jackson vs. Rey Fenix was also announced — a preview of the upcoming Bucks vs. PAC and Fenix Tag Team title match. The Death Triangle members earned the shot by winning Sunday’s Casino Tag Team Royale. Fenix defeated Nick Jackson in a well-received singles match on the November 20, 2019, Dynamite.

Finally, a six woman tag team match was announced coming out of Revolution featuring AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida, Ryo Mizunami and Thunder Rosa against Britt Baker, Maki Itoh (who made a surprise debut Sunday) and Rebel. After Shida’s win over Mizunami Sunday, Nyla Rose came out to attack both ladies with Baker and Rebel joining them shortly thereafter. Eventually, Rosa ran out to even the odds and run off the heels.

The card thus far:

TNT Champion Darby Allin vs. Scorpio Sky
Matt Jackson vs. Rey Fenix
AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida, Ryo Mizunami and Thunder Rosa vs. Britt Baker, Maki Itoh and Rebel
