- Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City
Boasting the best record of any Englishman in the competition, Al Hain-Cole is backing the Spurs striker to net a crucial goal against Guardiola’s men
Tottenham will be hoping Harry Kane can continue his exceptional Champions League form when they face Manchester City in Tuesday’s quarter final home leg.
The 25-year-old’s return of 14 goals in 17 matches is equivalent to a goal every 106 minutes – the best record of any English player in the competition’s history.
It is therefore no wonder that he is the shortest priced home player at 9/2 (5.50) with William Hill to open the scoring, making history in the process with the first European goal at Spurs’ new stadium.

Considering he has hit the net in 12 of his last 16 fixtures for club and country, Kane certainly looks like strong value at 13/10 (2.30) to strike anytime in this crucial clash.
The England captain will be particularly vital considering the previously prolific Son Heung-Min has lost his touch in recent matches, with odds of 13/8 (2.63) available on him scoring for just the second game in eight.
While he has only scored three times since the turn of the year for Tottenham, Christian Eriksen’s record of five goals in 11 previous appearances against the Citizens could make him a tempting longer shot at 19/5 (4.80) anytime odds.
At the other end of the pitch, Pep Guardiola will be hoping his own star striker Sergio Aguero is fit to start after missing the last two matches due to injury.
With 15 goals to his name in the last 13 appearances, he is the 7/2 (4.50) favourite to break the deadlock in north London, and priced at 21/20 (2.05) anytime odds.
However, City also boast the luxury of several other in-form attacking options, with Raheem Sterling an 11/8 (2.38) shot to score his ninth goal in seven appearances for club and country.
Meanwhile, Leroy Sane has been successful with each of his last four shots on target in the Champions League, and can be backed at 15/8 (2.88) to maintain that record here.
