Triple H made a surprise return to WWE Raw this Monday night in Brooklyn, NY to cap off an incredible SummerSlam weekend at the Barclays Center. The Game was in rare form, wasting very little time in addressing his opponent for the upcoming WWE Super Show-Down event in Melbourne, Australia – The Undertaker!
In a high-energy in-ring segment, Triple H claimed that he originally turned down the opportunity to step back into the ring with his old rival one last time. He even showed stills from their iconic “End of an Era” Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 28 as proof that the past, ultimately, should stay buried in the past.
However, upon further reflection the self-proclaimed King of Kings admitted that he sometimes finds himself missing “his era” of professional wrestling, lamenting his decision to put on a suit and become the corporate executive he is today.
As you can see in the video below, Triple H has agreed to return to the ring and face The Phenom one last time at WWE Super Show-Down, but he will only do so on one condition: that The Undertaker digs down deep to become “The Deadman” once again, so that the two legends can remind people exactly why “their era” was truly something special.
