As previously reported, Tenille Dashwood (formerly Emma in WWE) will be undergoing shoulder surgery to repair an injury that has been nagging at her for quite a while.
After unsuccessfully challenging Sumie Sakai for the WOH Championship at last weekend’s ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view, she made a final appearance at the following night’s television taping event to announce her injury to the fans.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the original plan was actually to have Tenille win the title at the pay-per-view. It’s something the company has apparently been planning for quite some time, as they’ve built her up to be one of their top stars at nearly every show, but plans were changed last month when it was realized she would have to take time off.
It’s expected that Tenille will be out of action for the next four to six months. Despite the injury, she is still expected to sign a new longer-term contract with Ring of Honor.
