In the latest twist between World Wrestling Entertainment and the Denver Nuggets, TMZ has leaked an unreleased draft Kroenke Sports Enterprises wrote and submitted to WWE for their approval to send out to the media before a deal had been made regarding the scheduling conflict.
The press release contains the following quote from Vince McMahon praising Denver Nuggets owner Stan Kroenke, which McMahon himself is claiming he never made:
“By all accounts, Mr. Kroenke is one of the most respected professional sports team owners in the world, and the professional way he and his staff good-naturedly handled this conflict gives further testament to the type of business leader he is. We look forwad to Sunday’s WWE event and future events at the Pepsi Center.”

KROENKE SPORTS ENTERPRISES AND WWE REACH AGREEMENT
DENVER – Kroenke Sports Enterprises and World Wrestling Entertainment have reached an amicable agreement regarding the WWE Monday Night RAW event originally scheduled for Monday, May 25.
Due to Game 4 of the NBA’s Western Conference Finals, the live RAW event will now take place at Pepsi Center on Sunday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the May 25th WWE date will be honored on
May 24th. Fans wishing to receive a fefund must return tickets to the original point of purchase.
“We are pleased to announce that we have reached this agreement with WWE,” said KSE Executive Vice President Paul Andrews. “World Wrestling Entertainment fans and Denver Nuggets fans will be able to see both events here at Pepsi Center this weekend.”
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon voiced “I would like to thank Stan Kroenke and his management team for resolving this matter so quickly in a way that allows all WWE and Nuggets fans to watch two world class main events Sunday and Monday.
