Coach Javier Weber extend his contract with Argentina League second best team until 2017 in an inusual event for volleyball.

The team, that next year will be coached by Carlos Getzelevich (Weber will be the General Manager) will start working next July with new players: there will be a Brazilian setter, Thiago Gelinsky; a middle player, Pablo Crer; the libero Franco López (these last two players come from Villa María, Cordoba), an Argentine wing spiker and a powerful foreign opposite player.

The team maintained Gabriel Arroyo and Javier Filardi, added to Sebastián Sole (with current hiring contract).

Marcelo Tinelli advised that he is very happy with Weber and that he was sensitized by the letter that Weber wrote to say farewell to Bolivar fans: “Wishing to become Alex Fergusson from Bolívar, I understand that it was a good idea to keep him with the team. Something very historical for Argentine Volleyball”.

Weber will be now all time with the Argentine Senior Men Team in a demaning calendar with the FIVB World League (that starts this weekend), the South American Championship, the World Cup and the Olympic Qualification Competition. “The idea is to go step by step with this new team and of course, our goal is to obtain the qualification for the 2012 Olympic Games” explained the former setter and Olympic Bronze Medal winner in Seoul 1988″.
