The First Lady’s approval rating spiked earlier this spring, according to a poll conducted by CNN. However, a new poll from June 14-17 saw her rating take a dip, down to 51% from last month’s high of 57%. The drop took place following her reemergence following surgery for a benign kidney condition.

While the meeting was taking place, it was reported that the Trump administration would be withdrawing form the U.N. Human Rights Council—the very same council which recently criticized the practice of separating parents and children at the border. (The reason given was that the organization is anti-Israel.)

And, of course, across the pond, our other favorite royals were stepping out for a day of horse racing. Newly minted Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle attended her very first Royal Ascot, arm-in-arm with her top-hat-wearing hubby Prince Harry.
