The connection between WWE and U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump continued Tuesday at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

WWE was mentioned by the GOP party chairman for Connecticut in a formal announcement casting all of the state’s 28 delegates in favor of Trump.

“I come from the land where we manufacture Pez, nuclear submarines, and the home of the WWE, where men are men and women are champions,” said Conn. GOP chairman J.R. Romano.

Former WWE CEO Linda McMahon, who has been involved in the Republican party’s 2016 campaign season, also commented on long-time WWE associate Trump running for president.

“I can’t imagine what it must be like running for president,” McMahon was quoted by the Connecticut Post. “It’s not easy.”

McMahon also said she would help Trump campaign in Connecticut. She noted to the newspaper that she and Vince McMahon first met Trump at a Rolling Stones concert at the Meadowlands in New Jersey.
