The Miz vs. Damien Sandow
The Miz makes his way to the ring. His advertised match against his former “Stunt Double” and “Personal Assistant,” Damien Sandow, is up next. We head to a commercial break.
When we return from the break, Sandow comes out to Miz’s theme, still dressed up like movie-star-Miz. The bell sounds and here we go.
Miz controls the action throughout the majority of the match, with Sandow having spots here and there. The finish sees Sandow go for the Skull Crushing Finale. Miz avoids it. Miz ends up rolling up Sandow for the 1-2-3.
Winner: The Miz
Backstage: Renee Young Interviews Randy Orton
After the match we see Renee Young backstage. Randy Orton walks in. Orton says he has nothing against Ryback or Roman Reigns, but tonight he’s going to do what he has to do to beat them and become the number one contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Roman Reigns vs. Ryback vs. Randy Orton
When we return from the break, it’s main event time. It’s Roman Reigns vs. Ryback vs. Randy Orton to determine the new number one contender and Seth Rollins’ opponent for the upcoming WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
After Lilian Garcia does the formal introductions for this one, which is tonight’s RAW main event, the bell sounds and the action gets underway.
As all three guys battle it out, The Authority — Seth Rollins, Big Show, Kane and J&J Security make their way out to the top of the stage. They watch on as the action continues in the ring.
Meanwhile, Reigns starts to establish control. The Authority guys make their way down to ringside. Reigns flies over the top and splashes onto all of them on the floor.
Back in the ring, Orton blasts Ryback with an RKO out of nowhere. He pins him. 1-2-3. Orton is the new number one contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and will be Seth Rollins’ opponent at the upcoming WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
After the match, Rollins hits the ring and Curb Stomps Orton. Rollins stands over “The Viper,” holding his WWE World Heavyweight Championship high in the air as this week’s RAW goes off the air.
