It looks like when the brand split goes down later this year, WWE will begin running exclusive RAW and SmackDown pay-per-view events.
According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, starting in September, WWE will be running two separate monthly pay-per-views for RAW and SmackDown, with wrestlers from both shows only appearing on WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble and Survivor Series pay-per-views.
With the split-rosters and separate pay-per-view plans, Meltzer noted that it’s almost a guarantee that WWE will create a second World Championship, so that each brand — and pay-per-view — has World Title matches.
