L’Équipe report this morning that three young men have been taken into police custody and are being questioned over the burglary of Paris Saint-Germain man Ángel Di María’s home in March.
The events took place on the evening of during PSG’s match against Nantes, during which the Argentine had been taken off during the second half to quickly return to his family after the robbery had occurred.
At their Neuilly-sur-Seine home, Di María’s wife had found a small box in a wardrobe completely emptied of its contents, with the robbers taking jewellery and luxury watches worth over an estimated €500,000.
The men, aged between 25 and 30, are suspected of carrying this out and are also being questioned with regard to a separate break-in attempt of midfielder Julian Draxler’s home.
