The Italian will miss tomorrow’s Champions League opener against Club Brugge, as well as the Ligue 1 fixtures against both Lyon and Metz.

Verratti had picked up bruising on his left knee while on international duty last week. The club adds that defender Sergio Ramos is continuing his recovery from a calf injury, while Juan Bernat and Colin Dagba have returned to first-team training. Layvin Kurzwawa is recovering from an adductor injury and is expected to return to training this week.
