On January 22, 2018, the longest weekly episodic television program in history will celebrate a milestone accomplishment. Monday Night RAW will hold its 25-year celebration with a simulcast from both the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York as well as the Manhattan Center that served as the venue for the very first episode of RAW back in 1993. Throughout the past 25 years, millions have witnessed the evolution of professional wrestling as WWE built RAW into the flagship show we have come to know.
The 25 years RAW has been on the air has spanned over two centuries, three decades, and several different eras within WWE and the world of pro wrestling. Each era in WWE history is definable and easily contrasted to other eras that either preceded or superseded it. In total, there have been five different eras spread over the 25 years of Monday Night RAW which each serving a vital role in the program.
