As reported by RMC Sport PSG are entering new negotiations today and Thursday with Porto for the payment of a release clause for Vitinha. A fee of €40m is expected to be approved within 48 hours for the Portuguese midfielder who could arrive to the French capital before the end of June.

FC Porto’s president Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa confirmed that a release clause will have to be met for Vitinha in order for him to leave the Liga Portugal side: “We have received a concrete offer for a considerable amount of money for Vitinha, which we have not accepted, and we are relying on his release clause [estimated at 40 million euros]”.

It was reported earlier this month by Foot Mercato  that the former Wolves loanee was set to sign a five-year deal at PSG. The 22-year-old has made 47 appearances in all competitions for FC Porto in the Liga Portugal including 36 as a starter. He scored four goals and provided three assists.
