It was another outstanding night for the “Kingslayer”, as Seth Rollins followed up his incredible WWE Backlash match with The Miz by issuing his first ever Intercontinental Championship Open Challenge on Monday Night RAW.

Rollins confirmed that he will not be taking place in this year’s Money in the Bank ladder match, as his primary focus right now is being a “fighting champion” and making the Intercontinental title the most prestigious and important championship on the RAW brand.

So who accepted Monday Night Rollins’ first open challenge? Why, none other than Mojo Rawley, who came over to the red brand last month as a part of the Superstar Shakeup. While the former Hype Bro put up a good fight – shaking off a few disruptive Zack Ryder chants from the Long Island crowd – it was ultimately the reigning champion Seth Rollins who came away with the victory, planting his opponent with the Curb Stomp to retain the gold.
