Undisputed Era Clears Their Name
As noted, former NXT Champion Aleister Black is currently recovering from a groin injury and was written off television temporarily in the form of a storyline attack in the parking lot at Full Sail University. The story was done as a last-minute way of removing Black from the championship match at tonight’s NXT Takeover: Brooklyn 4 special.
NXT General Manager William Regal announced prior to this evening’s show that more information has become available stemming from his open investigation into the matter. He has officially ruled out The Undisputed Era – Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong – as potential suspects.
Dream Sends a Message to Vince
The Velveteen Dream’s custom ring gear has always been something to look forward at these major NXT Takeover specials, but the young superstar may have outdone himself in Brooklyn this weekend.
Dream wore a brand new pair of his signature air-brushed tights, as usual, but this time he had featured the words “Call Me Up Vince” on his rear end. Yes, we’re completely serious. We’re not sure if this risky tactic will help or hurt the former Tough Enough competitor in his quest to move up to the main roster, but it’s certainly a creative, if not bold, move.
For what it’s worth, “Vince McMahon” was trending on Twitter within minutes of Dream’s match with EC3 beginning.
